Creamfields Capacity and History
The festival made its maiden entrance into the UK craze music scene in 1998 in Winchester, moving to Cream’s home city Liverpool the next year – taking place at old Liverpool airport. This was before it moved to the current Creamfields location – the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire.
The festival initially began as a one-day event with 25,000 people in attendance; however, it has now turned into a 4-day extravaganza with the Creamfields capacity up to 80,000 per day. The Creamfields festival has become the UK’s top and most prestigious electronic dance music festival.
Creamfields Festival 2022
In 2022, the Creamfields festival will mark its 25th anniversary – celebrating by launching a second festival, the Creamfields South. The Creamfields South location will be Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Creamfields dates – the Creamfields South will span across the Jubilee bank holiday weekend in June. Additionally, the popular Daresbury festival is now known as Creamfields North.
When is Creamfields 2022?
Creamfields is one of the biggest British dance and music festivals showcasing world-class DJs and an array of great live acts from around the country. The festival is held in the last week of August in Daresbury, England. Please take notice; if you do not plan to camp out at the Creamfields location, then you should buy a day ticket for each day you plan on attending the event – or a 2-day non-camping ticket – which is, however, slightly on the more expensive side.
